| Job Responsibilities |
Discussing and coordinating with R&D & other technical personnel to identify & capture ideas having potential to protect in any form of IPR.
Patentability/prior art analysis of received invention on grounds of novelty and inventive features.
Preparing/reviewing provisional or complete patent specifications after a clear understanding of technology for filing in India and abroad. Preparing/reviewing complete specfication based on a provisional application filed.
Drafting or guiding patent drafter to prepare broad & valid claims for different jurisdictions, keeping products and their future developments in mind.
Prosecution of patent applications in india and abroad, responding to examination reports.
Preparing/guiding to prepare validity and freedom-to-operate reports.
Preparing or guiding to prepare detailed infringement analysis reports by preparing the claim tree and comparison charts. rewarding/recognizing the inventors filed IP applications, deciding the best category awards for rewarding/recognizing. Preparing applications related to industrial designs and copyright/notarization and managing licensing in and out activities.
Handling IPR related other legal & IPAB matters.

| Competencies (Technical / Functional) | 1.Thorough Knowledge in Patent Drafting & Analyzing Claims
2.Thorough Knowledge in Patent Search using free and paid databases
3.Thorough Knowledge in India & PCT systems.
4.Exposure to US & Europe Patent filing and Examination Procedures
5.Knowledge in International treaties related to IP
6.Knowledge in Copyright, Industrial Design & Trademark registration.
7.Knowledge in Preparing Non- disclosure and License Agreements w.r.t IPR
8.Awareness of automotive domain
9. Any work knowledge related to IPR
